Proceeds from 'save the koala' tattoos will go towards conservation projects to save the koala and it's special habitat, the eucalypt forest. A koala's diet is restricted to only leaves from eucalyptus trees, so it is very important that there are enough of these trees available for the koalas to feed on. Hopefully projects such as the 'save the koala' tattoo may result in the provision of more habitat that is suitable for the koala.
