Adventures in Travel Expo 24-26 November 2006, Sydney, NSW |
The Adventures in Travel ExpoTM is the world's largest, and most widely attended series of travel shows focused on the fastest growing travel segment in the world - adventure and active travel. Usually held in USA, a show was held on 24-26 November 2006 at the Sydney Convention and Exhibition Centre, Darling Drive, Darling Harbour, Sydney. WTA was a proud partner in this event. 2006 - The 2nd Australian Wildlife Tourism Conference - Fremantle, WA |

Workshops
WTA's second annual workshop was held on 17-19 April 2005 at Binna Burra and O'Reilly's Guest House, and featured keynote speaker Bradley Trevor Greive, who launched WTA's Southern Queensland Wildlife Trail

2007 - Wildlife Workshop: Wildlife of the Scenic Rim |
A celebration of the wildlife of the Border Ranges region, which boasts the third highest deiversity in Austrlaia. the first in a series of wildlife workshops run jointly by Wildlife Tourism Australia and the Logan and Albert Conservation Association, leading up to the Wildlife Festival in September 2008. A series of wildlife workshops sponsored by the Beaudesert Shire Council (now part of Scenic Rim Council) and run jointly by Wildlife Tourism Australia and the Logan and Albert Conservation Association. 2008 - WTA display in two events in Beaudesert, Qld
A WTA stand in Rotary's Eco Expo attracted school stuidents and the general public in May 2008 as it had in 2007. Visitors to the stand learned about where they could go to see wildlife on their holidays and how wildlife tourism can be conducted to give quality experiences while minimizing disturbance to wildlife, and evenb contributing positively to conservation. Vice-president Dr Ronda Green also gave a talk on the latter topic on each of the two days
The Araucaria Ecotours bus was used to display the WTA banner and promote the WIldlife Expo to be held in Beaudesert in September 2008 during the Parade of 1000 Hooves through Beaudesert as part of the Horse and Country Festival 2008.
