Bat Hospital Visitor Centre

Visitors have a unique opportunity to see the work of the internationally-renowned Tolga Bat Hospital and meet some Australian bats, up close and personal. Learn what is special about these flying mammals.

Why do they hang upside down? How do microbats ‘see’ with their ears? Tours are at feeding time in the afternoons when the flying foxes come down to eye level from their 6 metre roost.

Open daily all year 3-6pm, but bookings essential. Personalised tours at 3pm and 4pm.
