We are now calling for submissions of abstracts (summaries of presentations) for this conference, which is to be held at Healesville Sanctuary, with a mid-conference excursion to Moonlit Sanctuary.
Registration is now open, and there are discounts for members and for students and low- and middle-income countries.
Earlybird registration ends 30 June 2026

It would make our planning much easier if you could let us know ASAP as to whether you intend joining us, whether you would like to present a paper, and if so what your topic will be (not necessarily your final title)
Formatting your abstract:
- Font: Arial
- Title: Sentence style, bolded, Size 14
- Author name/s and body of abstract: Size 12, not bolded
- Title of your presentation
- Your name
- Your affiliation (university, NGO, tour company etc,)
- Name/s of any co-author/s
- Whether you prefer to give a talk (about 12 minutes), a speed-talk (about 4 minutes), coordinate a discussion group on a relevant topic (40minutes) or present a poster (up to A0 size, horizontally or vertically(
- Subtheme you would like it to fit into (see below)
- The abstract itself – summarising what you intend presenting (no longer than 300 words)
- Whether you would like just your abstract (adjusted to past tense where appropriate) or an extended abstract or full report (provided by yourself within a month of the conference) to be included in our final conference report which will be available on our website as a downloadable pdf
- Whether you are ok with a pdf of your presentation being available n our website
