Using Wildlife for Tourism: Workshop 2012

Wildlife Tourism Australia’s 3rd national workshop was a great success judging by the animated (friendly) discussions, the flow of ideas and information, and the many positive comments we have received

Delegates came from Queensland, New South Wales, Tasmania, Western Australia, Northern Territory and Japan.

Once our volunteer scribes have sent us their notes.we’ll be writing up a detailed report

Meantime you can download a pdf of the abstracts and discussion questions from https://www.wildlifetourism.org.au/wildlife-tourism-workshop-2012/program-wildlife-tourism-workshop-may-2012/

There is already talk of a workshop on Northern Territory next year on an Indigenous approach to wildlife interpretation, and a full-scalewildlife tourism conference in 2014 or 2015
